Jefferson Jensen

Jefferson Jensen graduated from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2024, where he was a leader in the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. As a Quinney Fellow, he worked alongside Professor Jeffrey Schwartz, researching mutual fund proxy voting trends on shareholder proposals and co-authoring Understanding the Big Three’s Wavering Support of Environmental and Social Shareholder Proposals, 48 SEATTLE U. L. REV. 481 (2025).

Jefferson is passionate about finding creative solutions to complex legal challenges. He believes that the best outcomes arise from open collaboration, working closely with clients and colleagues to analyze issues from multiple angles. Whether navigating high-stakes litigation or structuring transactions, he combines innovative problem-solving with a practical mindset to develop strategies for the best outcome for his clients.

Jefferson is admitted to practice in Utah and the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. He has experience in both litigation and transactional matters, with a background in real estate, community associations, intellectual property, entertainment law, personal injury, and family law. Before law school, Jefferson studied trumpet performance at Snow College and earned a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University.

Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and kids, the outdoors, art projects, history podcasts, live music, and movies. He loves watching college football and basketball – Go Cougars! He is also an avid supporter of the Utah Jazz, Real Salt Lake, Chelsea Football Club, Utah Hockey Club, Boston Red Sox, and San Francisco Giants.

Education

Prior to law school, Jefferson studied trumpet performance at Snow College, and graduated with a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University.
